What to do for the bees?
First, leave them alone to do what they do best.
Second, provide a safe, shallow water source away from swimming pools, areas where people congregate and keep the water reservoir full on a regular basis.
Third, use pesticides sparingly and according to package directions. Apply them early in the morning or in the late evening—always when the wind is not blowing.
Fourth, plant trees, shrubs, flowers, crops, herbs and ornamental grasses bees like. Before planting, find information about the plant as some may be poisonous to humans, cats, dogs, horses, and other pets. It is better to plant indigenous plants instead of imports.
