WHAT IS THE SHORT COURSE:

This course of six classes will teach participants all they need to know to get started with beekeeping.  It will cover the equipment and tools of the trade, proper handling of bees, harvesting honey and wax, managing pests and bee health, and much more.  The course will be taught by members of the Local and State beekeepers organization and possibly Clemson University Apiarists.  These  beekeepers have decades of beekeeping experience.   For ambitious beekeepers, this short course is the first step in becoming a Certified Master Beekeeper.  For more information on becoming a certified master beekeeper, visit the SC State Beekeepers website at …  www.scstatebeekeepers.org
