Georgetown Chapter
Welcome to the Georgetown Chapter Webpage
Your place to learn and stay informed about local Beekeeping and pollinator
As part of BBA, we are the Beekeepers support team for the southern part of Horry County, Georgetown County and areas south nearby. This chapter was formed to make it easier for area beekeepers to learn about the Art and Science of Beekeeping without having to travel to Conway for regular monthly meetings. ALL are welcome at our Georgetown chapter monthly meeting held at 6pm the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Winyah Blueberry Farm 309 Weaver Loop Georgetown SC 29440 The monthly meeting is open to all interested persons. There is no charge to attend. As always, we encourage attendance at regular BBA meetings in Conway. We suggest you also regularly check out calendar events so that you will not miss an opportunity to learn. Events are updated regularly.
New to the BBA Website?
You will find the appropriate support information you need by going to the "Education" Tab then scroll down to "Beekeeper Topic Links".
The most common issues are currently addressed there.
In addition we highly suggest you consider attending a "Field Day" where you will learn "hands on" procedures from experienced beekeepers.
Field Day times, locations can be found under the "Event Calendar" tab. Generally a field day will address current conditions and topics as well as answering questions.
