This fall 2026 BBA is offering several opportunities for the public to learn about the plight of pollinators in our area and determine if they might want to manage a colony of Honey bees (Beekeeping).
All programs and presentations have been developed by and will be presented by local experienced BBA beekeepers. In addition these programs are presented at minimal or no cost to the public.
A big part of Blackwater Beekeeper Association's mission is public education to encourage and protect not only the local Honey bee population but all local pollinators as the human expansion in our local areas impacts their survival.
If you live in areas where there is more housing than native trees...you most likely do not see very many pollinators.
